The Prince of Hypocrisy

Emperor Obama demands a comprehensive review of last week's shootings at Ft. Hood. Quoting His Highness, "If there was a failure to take appropriate action before the shootings, there must be accountability." Is that so?

When are the Commanders in Chiefs going to be held “accountable’ for executing unconstitutional wars of aggression and occupation of other countries? When are they going to be held “accountable” for their lies, and murders of innocent civilians?

When will they be held “accountable” for the proven hatred and desperation created among their victims?

When are those who disallow soldiers even carrying side arms for self-defense going to be held “accountable” for their idiocy

Where is the “accountability" for the Emperor’s economic “stimulus” program that has resulted in MORE unemployment than he predicted if this stimulus was not initiated! Where is the “accountability” for these incompetent, inaccurate predictions and their damaging consequences?

It’s always the underlings carrying out the policy of the ruling oligarchs who are punished, rather than those who create that policy. It’s always the ruled who are expected to suffer in silence and feel “gratitude” toward their benevolent leaders for “trying” to help them.

But then, that’s “democracy.”

Dallas has at least one of these unaccountable criminals living within its city borders who is welcomed with open arms and fawning respect. He, however, deserves the same treatment Italians gave to Mussolini.

Let’s All Watch The Death Parade!

Let’s all watch Boobus wave his war flags and chant his slogans.

Let’s all watch the unconscionable chicken hawks cluck with delight.

Let’s all watch still more people die to satisfy the blood lust of the war cult.

Let’s all watch the deceived masses cling to the belief that violence is their salvation.

Let’s all watch the kidnapped youth, captured by the allure of nationalism and “service,” squander their lives in servility.

Let’s all watch what’s left of civilization slide further into collective barbarism.

What a show!

DVD Reviews

Sleep Dealer:
Futuristic independent film set in the not too distant future when the border between the US and Mexico is completely sealed. However, Mexican labor is still utilized in the US by connecting worker’s bodies to the internet where they control robots operating in the US. Drone aircraft sent from the US take care of any dissent (sound familiar?).

Front Line- Bush’s War:
2008 report updates all the latest fraud and criminal behavior by the Bush administration in its unwarranted attack and occupation of Iraq. Watching this reinforced my opinion of government as merely a collection of insane, power mad gangsters.

Moderately funny comedy starring Jim Carrey. It’s worth watching for the upbeat, positive reinforcement to live life as if the world’s a playground and be careful not to pass up on the opportunities life offers.

Recommended

Witch Hunt:
This documentary examines the wrongful convictions of numerous individuals for child molestation during the early 1980’s in Bakersfield, CA. Some of the individuals stayed in prison for as long as twenty years before being released. An excellent representation of government abuse of power.

Blindsight:
Inspiring documentary that follows several blind Tibetan children as they attempt to climb the challenging, treacherous area around Mt. Everest.
Recommended

Two Days in October- American Experience:
PBS documentary looks at two days in 1967, during the Vietnam War, where an ambush killed 61 US soldiers and began to turn the tide of public opinion against the US involvement. Occurring at the same time were growing protests at the University of Wisconsin where police-initiated violence began the long string of violent protests against that war.

Recommended

The Conscientious Objector:
Fascinating documentary about Desmond Doss, the first conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions on Okinawa during World War II. His feats of heroism and compassion were downright supernatural.

1994 film starring Kevin Spacey as an abusive boss in the movie production business. Superb acting all around and a great look at just how far people will go (and fall) in their quest for power and money.
Recommended

Desperate Man Blues:
Very enjoyable profile of Joe Bussard, who has spent a half century collecting and preserving American music from the 1920’s and 30’s and brags of a unique, priceless collection of 35,000 records. It’s inspiring to watch a man thoroughly enjoy what he is doing while performing an invaluable educational service to the public.
Recommended

Frontline- Ghosts of Rwanda:
This 2004 program follows the events of the Rwandan genocide, 10 years earlier. Part of the reason for the origination of the United Nations was to prevent the reoccurrence of events, such as the holocaust. Yet, this organization’s indifference and incompetence allowed just that to happen.

Weeds, Season 1-4:
This Showtime comedy, armed with a witty script and first rate comedy acting, knows no boundaries as it follows the life of a widowed mother who takes up selling marijuana to support her family. The multiple plots are quick moving and never allowed to get stagnant or repetitive. I would only criticize the program’s incessant hang-up with sexual promiscuity, but maybe that’s because it takes place in California. The series has a definite anti-state sentiment, poking fun at drug laws and their arbitrary enforcement, and in later episodes even takes on “illegal” immigration.
Recommended

Respect Yourself- The Stax Records Story:
A very comprehensive overview of the history of Stax Records of Memphis, TN. This company produced some of the great soul artists of our time, including Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Booker T. and the MG’s, and Johnny Taylor. While Motown was Hitsville, USA, Stax Was Soulville, USA. The rise of Stax paralleled the era of the civil rights movement, inspiring blacks toward the liberating direction of economic empowerment. Lots of great concert film clips are included.
Recommended

Loose Change 9/11- An American Coup:
The documentary raises many interesting questions about the events of that day and considerable doubts about the conclusions drawn through “official” investigations. Anyone with an open mind concerning the truth about 911 should view this.

Quotes of the Week

From the Light:
“In 1960, when I came out of prison as an ex-convict, I had more freedom under parolee supervision than there's available... in America right now.”
Merle Haggard
“Government doesn’t 'create' jobs, nor does it 'save' them. It doesn’t perform miracles. Rather, it performs stage magic. It makes things — things like money and jobs — disappear (into its lovely assistants’ pockets) through sleight-of-inefficiency. This is not done for the benefit of the audience.”
Thomas L. Knapp

“Government is the only institution in our civilized society that is able to cover its coercion (and its use of threats) in a shroud of mystique and legitimacy There are other individuals and groups in society that use force: individual criminals (the lone burglar, rapist, etc.), and groups of criminals (the Mafia or gangs of thieves, etc.). But none of these claim their activities are proper and useful. Government is the only one of these coercive groups that claims its use of force is legitimate and necessary to everybody's wellbeing.”
Carl Watner

“A more rational definition of "Obamaism" would describe it as a pathology, rather than an ideology. It is an alloy of impervious credulity and militant leader-worship that reveals itself in the tendency to invest one's hopes in a figure who supposedly embodies hope and change.”
Will Grigg

"Politicians lie. Voters believe. This is the great symbiotic relationship of democratic politics."
Gary North

“Instead of directly having a warlord killing off his rivals (the standard excuse against self-responsible, non-coercive living- ‘anarchy‘), with voting there is another layer of camouflage to hide the reality. You have a mob voting on who the warlords, collectively referred to as ‘government‘, will kill next; whose rights will be violated, whose choices will be criminalized, whose value as a human will be marginalized simply because they are in the minority.”
Kent McManigal

“Humanity has passed the tipping point – economically, culturally and environmentally. The ‘consuming and killing’ model embraced by Americans as cultural norm is, in reality, a cultural aberration. It is destroying everything and everyone in its wake – including those who are fighting and dying to preserve it. In accepting such a model – often without question – Americans have become victims of their own complacency.”
Sandy Leon Vest

“Shifting power from one group of usurping thugs to another constitutes nothing of any value at all. Voting and elections will not eliminate taxation. It will not increase individual liberty. These endless despicable goings-on can only and exclusively produce the opposite result. To lend any legitimacy to political government in any form – by voting or otherwise – is to essentially endorse bullying, thievery, kidnapping, and outright murder – so long as those committing such tyrannical atrocities are in the employ, at taxpayer expense, of course, of a government.”
Alex R. Knight III

“Our military, which swallows half of the federal budget, is enormously popular—as if it is not part of government. The military values of hyper-masculinity, blind obedience and violence are an electric current that run through reality television and trash-talk programs where contestants endure pain while they betray and manipulate those around them in a ruthless world of competition. Friendship and compassion are banished.”
Chris Hedges

“It appears, then, that among the critical difficulties of restraining the growth of government is the obvious fact that even when restraints are enacted into law, the government will not obey that law. Needless to say at this point, constitutional amendments are not worth the parchment on which they are inscribed. After all, the Constitution still contains the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. With those amendments and three or four bucks, you can get a latté at Starbucks.”
Robert Higgs

“Men who are possessed by the passion for physical gratification generally find out that the turmoil of freedom disturbs their welfare before they discover how freedom itself promote it. If the slightest rumor of public commotion intrudes into the petty pleasures of private life, they are aroused and alarmed by it. The fear of anarchy perpetually haunts them, and they are always ready to fling away their freedom at the first disturbance.”
Alexis de Tocqueville

“Amid all the shock [about the Ft Hood massacre], and certainly shock is warranted, I, like so many here, wonder if seemingly obvious questions about not only this event, but the totality of military action such as that in Afghanistan and Iraq, will be asked. How can our society remain ignorant of the fact that statist violence is only capable of generating evil? The expansion of violence cannot provide a logical remedy for the failure of violence. Simply put, killing people to illustrate that killing people is wrong doesn’t work.”
Wilton Alston

From the Darkness:
“In office for a mere nine months, Obama is now a full-blown 'ism.' And Obamaism—the idea that there must be shared global responsibility for virtually every problem we face—makes some obvious sense.”
Howard Fineman, Newsweek

“We have less than 50 days to save the planet.”
Gordon Brown, joining in the climate change hysteria

“Concerns exist that a more severe pandemic outbreak than 2009’s could cause large numbers of people staying home to increase their internet use and overwhelm internet providers’ network capacities.”
From a report, which was prepared by the US Government Accountability Office

“It’s a transformation … from something really twisted and ugly. I’m proud that our military is using that steel.”
Rosaleen Tallon, commenting on the USS New York naval assault vessel, whose bow include 7 ½ tons of steel recycled from the World Trade Center.

“The real winner is the people of Afghanistan. I am congratulating the people of Afghanistan.”
Hamid Karzai, in his acceptance speech, after being declared the winner of the Afghanistan presidential election.

“I firmly believe it is not too late for Congress to consider a carbon tax as the better policy approach for addressing the risks of climate change.”
Rex Tillerson, Exxon Mobil chief executive [proving that climate change opponents are NOT in the pockets of the oil industry.]

“Our most important strategy is to deploy people who know their neighbors and who are known by them...We want to make people aware that they can trust the census. It's safe. It's important. It matters to them. It matters to their neighbors. It matters to their family, and it matters to the city.”
Harriet Tregoning, D.C. Planning Director

“World markets need global governance. Their regulation, which is currently too bogged down, has it’s roots in national sovereignty. We should be adopting a new system of control, which would simultaneously satisfy the interests of all countries. The system can then decide which of the financial organizations become too large and require a division, there must also be new rules to control the movement of capital.”
George Soros

"Am I killing? Yes, I am. I know that, I'll ask that the spirit of this pregnancy be returned to God with love and understanding."
Curtis Boyd, the only doctor in North Texas who will perform late-term abortions to women up to six months pregnant.

“You don't have the right to resist a legal arrest and it's that simple.”
Milwaukee Police Officer (Ret.) Mark Zupnik

Some Thoughts on the Ft Hood Massacre

These soldier boys claim they protect me, but they CANNOT EVEN PROTECT THEMSELVES!!

And in a “secure” facility, no less. What a joke.

But I’m sure they have a long list of pre-made, ready to go, excuses for their failure, as well as scapegoats to name and blame.

Just as 9/11 proved that the military is useless at defending the “homeland” against a comparably large scale attack (they couldn’t even protect their own building), this tragedy proves they cannot even protect or defend themselves from one, single, lightly armed attacker.

----------------------------------------

While reading of this shooting, I noticed one very interesting fact- that a large, substantial collection of the most powerful fighting force in history had to call the local SWAT team to stop a lone gunmen from killing them. Do they lack the will or sense to defend themselves?
I’m starting to see more clearly now why US forces had so much difficulty the past 8 years defeating a ragtag collection of lightly armed peasants mobilized on donkey carts, horseback, and Toyota pickup trucks. [“Drive Toyota- the Truck of the Taliban!”]
----------------------------------------

I find it tragically ironic that a man charged with the duty of helping those afflicted with combat stress would be one who would lose it and “go postal.” And he hadn’t even experienced combat, but was merely terrified of that future prospect. Could it be possible that living in a culture that glorifies and rewards killing and destruction causes mental imbalance among its participants? Naah, the Empire’s central planners are too smart to let that happen.

----------------------------------------
The anti-Muslim barrages will now be in full swing amongst the boobus population. Those who see heroism in killing for Jeezus will loudly ridicule those who kill for Allah.

A pox on both their houses.

Making It Up As They Go Along.....

Those who treasure their individual liberty (or what remains of it) are quite aware of the constant issuance of laws and edicts from state masters that claim ownership over our bodies and lives. These same folks are also quite aware of those state agents that enforce our compliance to these same, arbitrary decrees. These agents are the ones most likely to cross the paths of peaceful people and whose actions create the justified animosity towards the state they represent.

Such is the case of a recent incident in Dallas, TX where a police officer not only issued a traffic ticket outlining driving violations, but also the fact that the ticketed driver did not speak English! It turns out that this was not just an isolated incident involving an over eager rookie jackboot, but has occurred numerous times, sometimes by veteran officers!

In other words, people have been getting charged and prosecuted for a law THAT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST! There is only an English speaking regulation among commercial drivers.

The Dallas police comically blame their inefficient computer system for encouraging the false charges. So is policing and enforcing laws become a push button occupation, devoid of any knowledge or reason? Has the quality of police recruits fallen so much as to create the necessity of such technology?

You know there are too many laws when the enforcing jackboots can’t keep track of what is legal and what is not. You know the state is becoming increasingly tyrannical when it prosecutes/persecutes individuals for not only unjust laws, but non-existent ones, as well. You know state agents are too powerful when they can create law out of thin air and insist on obedience.
