Making It Up As They Go Along.....

Those who treasure their individual liberty (or what remains of it) are quite aware of the constant issuance of laws and edicts from state masters that claim ownership over our bodies and lives. These same folks are also quite aware of those state agents that enforce our compliance to these same, arbitrary decrees. These agents are the ones most likely to cross the paths of peaceful people and whose actions create the justified animosity towards the state they represent.

Such is the case of a recent incident in Dallas, TX where a police officer not only issued a traffic ticket outlining driving violations, but also the fact that the ticketed driver did not speak English! It turns out that this was not just an isolated incident involving an over eager rookie jackboot, but has occurred numerous times, sometimes by veteran officers!

In other words, people have been getting charged and prosecuted for a law THAT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST! There is only an English speaking regulation among commercial drivers.

The Dallas police comically blame their inefficient computer system for encouraging the false charges. So is policing and enforcing laws become a push button occupation, devoid of any knowledge or reason? Has the quality of police recruits fallen so much as to create the necessity of such technology?

You know there are too many laws when the enforcing jackboots can’t keep track of what is legal and what is not. You know the state is becoming increasingly tyrannical when it prosecutes/persecutes individuals for not only unjust laws, but non-existent ones, as well. You know state agents are too powerful when they can create law out of thin air and insist on obedience.
